No, really, it is. All cool people knit. Also, I’ll have more proof below.

On Thursday, I met up with my dear circle of knitters, Julie, Hannah, and Dagmar, and I talked Ashley into coming as well. Our usual haunt is Joe’s Coffee, and I think the baristas are just bemused by us. (Also, we buy one drink each and hog the big table for hours. Also, they’ve heard all the details of my non-dating life. :p )

DSC_1306Tablets were basically invented to make knitting easier. Also, how lovely is Dagmar and I want Ashley’s hair!

Do you meet up with friends who share common interests? Do you have a favorite coffee shop? Do you knit? What are you working on right now?

  1. I love that you've gathered up a proper knitting circle! That is so cool. I never learned how to knit, but when I lived in Chicago I had a little group of friends I met up with to have creative writing brainstorming sessions. Those meetings usually ended up turning more into social events than actual productivity though. ๐Ÿ˜›

    • Well, we do spend most of the time talking about our lives and showing off our new yarn. So it's kind of akin to that. ๐Ÿ™‚ And, oh, creative writing circle. I should have done one of those, but I'm afraid people will hate my writing. (Yep.)

We could always teach you… ๐Ÿ˜‰
