A new job has brought a new requirement: Carrying a laptop with me every day.

I tend to favor smaller handbags, and don’t relish having to bring an extra tote with me every day, so I’ve realized I’m going to have to invest in a bag that can carry everything (and not tear under the strain). But I obviously want it to be stylish.

So I scoured the internet for some affordable (and some dream) options. I haven’t decided on anything yet. Also, I need money, first.

Laptop bags

Which do you like best? Do you have to carry a laptop with you? What do you use?

    • Them not looking like laptop bags was kind of the point. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Ugh, I wish they would just invest in laptop locks! Or a lock box! It would certainly be a lot cheaper than the workman's comp claim for my back and shoulder from lugging it around everywhere. :p

  1. So cute! I am in love with the red one. You'll be looking super stylish on your way to work

Plus cute bags are so very necessary when you're whole outfit is hidden under a coat! ๐Ÿ˜‰

  2. Of course I was drawn to all the more expensive ones on your list.

I'm wondering about Abington laptop bag from J. Crew. It's made of waxed cotton canvas which may make it bit lighter than leather bags I use now (scored all of those at TJMaxx) and it has broader strap. Oh, and I like the worn-in, little ruggish look.

Not sure how to put link in comments section… Sorry.

No worries about the linking. I think you could just paste it in. But I can go and look anyway. I'm afraid, too, cause you said JCrew, and I know how expensive their bags are…

But you could just try the Longchamp Le Pliage? And that way you can keep a smaller purse within the purse. Also, ahem, you can have it monogrammed ๐Ÿ˜‰ But you must absolutely invest in a laptop protector sleeve. There are fun ones for that too.
