I was thrilled when Skin&Co Roma approached me about reviewing some samples of their truffle therapy products, but also completely apprehensive about changing up a skincare regimen that had just recently repaired my skin and seemed pretty nailed down. But when an Italian skincare company making products with truffle oil offers you samples, you don’t say no!
I sang this song at karaoke on Saturday night, and was reminded what an incredible, amazing, cathartic song it is to sing along to at the top of your lungs.
Happy Monday, everyone.

Whenever anyone talks about over-the-counter options to treat adult acne, La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo invariably comes up. Back when I was still treating my product-induced breakout, but after I had discovered Clarins Lotus Treatment Oil and calmed the worst of my breakout, I was looking for something else to use to treat the stubborn zits and bumps that loved me so much, they didn’t want to get lost.

I’m not sure if you know this, but I’m a little bit of a red lipstick aficionado. So with the day of hearts and flowers and red lips (gag gag gag, sorry) upcoming, I thought I would share my top red lipstick picks at every budget level (and in every formula)!
Let’s take a closer look, shall we?
Normally, I’m not one to want an article of clothing or an accessory that is super well known or that everyone has (part of my problem with designer bags), but I’ve seen different variations of the Valentino Rockstud Shoes on different blogs lately, and…they just look so HOT.
I know a couple of big-name bloggers have just written about Sunday Riley Effortless Breathable Tinted Primer, but I’ve actually had mine for about a month now. I was waiting on a full evaluation before writing about it, but I’ve hinted at it a couple of times. Unlike the people who are now rushing out to buy it because of Anna and Kate (and no shame in that), my purchase was made due the usual: Lisa Eldridge. (And, yes, I’ve made the tag. 🙂 )
I mentioned that I have been wearing my By Terry Cover-Expert basically every day, except for the few days where I feel like wearing a little less. And the Effortless Breathable Primer is what’s been less. Only, I would never call it less, because it’s so so much on its own.
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush. The four words that sent the beauty blogosphere into pandemonium. Somehow I managed to snag one the first day they went on sale on the Hourglass site.
I had pretty much already decided on Radiant Magenta, but as I was sitting there, trying to make up my mind, literally the blushes sold out from under me and it was the only one left. So the Universe decided, and It decided well.

Brooklyn band Hospitality is new to me, having just read about them in Entertainment Weekly. This is the single from their new album, Trouble.
I’m not sure what I think yet. I think I like it. What do you guys think?
If you are a regular reader, you know my love/hate relationship with Birchbox. (Which I finally canceled, hallelujah.) I’ve talked about how I wish there was easy place to swap the samples you get, and I got an email the other day about eDivv.com. Ask and ye shall receive?
I can’t personally vouch for the site, because I’ve been too busy with this blog and my day job to set up an account and go through my piles of samples, but in theory, it’s exactly what I was looking for. So I thought maybe you’d like to know about it, too.
If you sign up, let me know how it goes!
