Well, today is my blog’s 6-month anniversary!! *pets it* When I started writing it, I wrote about how I was a failed blogger and I did wonder to myself how long I’d be able to keep this one going.

And despite starting a full-time job in the the middle of all this, I still have managed to keep up posting consistently. It hasn’t been easy, and a lot of the time, it feels like a second job. (I come home from a long day of work…to do more work…) But I’ve done it. And I’m proud and feel accomplished.

So, today’s question:

What is something that you’ve accomplished recently that you’re really proud of?

It doesn’t have to be blog-related. It can be anything. Let’s toot our own horns a bit. 🙂

  1. Is it sad that it took me a long time to come up with an answer to this? I suppose I’m proud of the fact that I’ve been able to grow my blog a bit in the past couple months and get involved with some interesting brands. That’s a rather boring answer, but the only other thing I could think of was “eat a lot of pickles in one sitting and not get sick”. 😛

    • No, it can be kind of hard! But that's awesome. And not boring at all. I've been lucky enough to be approached a couple of times, but haven't yet gotten to a place where I reach out to brands I'm interested in. I hope to grow mine more in the next 6 months. I want to be like you when I grow up. 😉

  2. Mazel Tov!!! I knew you could do it! Keep going, keep going!!

My big accomplishment of the last week is showing my boss how hard I work for him, even when he is not in the office. He usually leaves by 4:45pm every day (and he gets into the office at 7:30am, yikes!), and although I have told him many times how late I often work (til 7pm or later), and I will often send him an email about something business related when I am here late, to show him that I put in my hours plus a little more. Anyway, on Thursday, he stayed very late – until a little bit after 8pm, because his wife was playing mah jongg in Roslyn, and we just got in three new jobs on Thursday, so it was kind of overwhelming. I wasn't planning to stay later than 7:30pm, because I had stayed late the night before and I was really tired, but since my boss was staying so late, I stayed with him, and I left at 8pm. Before I left, he thanked me for staying and said that my performance that day went above and beyond! That was very good to hear 😀

    • Thank you!

Oh, it's too bad that it takes him being there with you for him to notice and appreciate it, though! But I'm glad you got the validation!
