At long last, I have a look for you with the NARSissist eyeshadow palette, as promised. Though I have been featuring other products, I am getting a decent amount of use out of this. It was pricey, but I think it was a good investment. (There are just so many freaking palettes out there these days, with new ones released every week. It can make your head spin.)

Don’t you love it when the real wind acts like a wind machine? 😉

I went warm with this look, to contrast the bright coolness of the lipstick (and colors in the shirt). Over my NARS Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Primer, I applied Fez, a gorgeous coppery bronze, all over my lid, up to the crease, and also on the lower lash line. To add a glow to the center of my lid, I used my finger to pat on Nepal, a peachy color, on top of it. (Okay, I wasn’t quite getting what I wanted, so I cheated and added a finger touch of MAC All That Glitters.)

(I wish they were ACTUALLY labeled!!)

I used Mekong, a stunning matte brown infused with gold sparkle, to deepen the crease. Then Bellissima #1, a peachy beige with a hint of gold sparkle, went on the upper lid (above the crease) and the inner corners.

NARSissist eyeshadow palette I tightlined with Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner in Sepia Ink, and dug it into the underside of my upper lashline, the upper waterline. And then I brought it down a bit on the lower lashline as well. I topped it off with L’Oreal Voluminous Carbon Black mascara.

NARSissist eyeshadow palette My cheekbones were graced with NARS Guy Bourdin Day Dream Blush for a gorgeous, peachy flush. Again, I blended two of the Bite Beauty Luminous Creme Lipstick custom colors I had made, but Bite Beauty High Pigment Pencil in Corvina is a good substitute.

NARSissist eyeshadow palette So there you have it, a warm shadow look with the palette. And there are so many more, both cool, neutral, and warm. I’m excited to keep playing around with it!

Do you have the palette? What are your favorite looks from it?

  1. AH! Fez is super brightening and lovely on your skin. 🙂 Seems like for Nars fans, this would be a fabulous palette to have. All the greatest hits in one place.

    • Hello!! And thank you. 🙂 I really don't normally gravitate to brown/bronze eye shades, and I always forget that I can actually pull them off! I'm not a huge fan of pre-assembled palettes in general, but this one is turning out to be have been a good investment. 🙂

  2. My eye keeps going straight to the two colors under Fez and the silvery one directly to the left. Any plans to to do a FOTD with these colors?
