At long last, I have a look for you with the NARSissist eyeshadow palette, as promised. Though I have been featuring other products, I am getting a decent amount of use out of this. It was pricey, but I think it was a good investment. (There are just so many freaking palettes out there these days, with new ones released every week. It can make your head spin.)
I went warm with this look, to contrast the bright coolness of the lipstick (and colors in the shirt). Over my NARS Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Primer, I applied Fez, a gorgeous coppery bronze, all over my lid, up to the crease, and also on the lower lash line. To add a glow to the center of my lid, I used my finger to pat on Nepal, a peachy color, on top of it. (Okay, I wasn’t quite getting what I wanted, so I cheated and added a finger touch of MAC All That Glitters.)
I used Mekong, a stunning matte brown infused with gold sparkle, to deepen the crease. Then Bellissima #1, a peachy beige with a hint of gold sparkle, went on the upper lid (above the crease) and the inner corners.
I tightlined with Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner in Sepia Ink, and dug it into the underside of my upper lashline, the upper waterline. And then I brought it down a bit on the lower lashline as well. I topped it off with L’Oreal Voluminous Carbon Black mascara.
My cheekbones were graced with NARS Guy Bourdin Day Dream Blush for a gorgeous, peachy flush. Again, I blended two of the Bite Beauty Luminous Creme Lipstick custom colors I had made, but Bite Beauty High Pigment Pencil in Corvina is a good substitute.
So there you have it, a warm shadow look with the palette. And there are so many more, both cool, neutral, and warm. I’m excited to keep playing around with it!
Do you have the palette? What are your favorite looks from it?
