*This entry has been prescheduled to post while I am out of the country, so if you comment and I don’t reply right away, that’s why.*
I’m back with some Rouge Bunny Rouge in action! I literally couldn’t wait to try out the shadows I showed you, so I actually put them on that day and took these photos. It’s true love.
Despite the fact that they don’t show up super pigmented on me, they just look so lovely. I wanted to contrast the warm colors of the shadow with a cooler lipstick, so I pulled out a favorite of mine that doesn’t see the light of day nearly often enough. Read on for details!
For this look, I used the shadows just over my Over my NARS Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Primer, but not over Benefit Creaseless Cream Eyeshadow in Birthday Suit (though I need to remember to do so in the future).
I used Rain Dove all over the lid, up into the crease. Then Rufous-Tailed Weaver on the outer third of the lid. I used Delicate Hummingbird to shade the crease, and deepened it a little with MAC Satin Taupe Eyeshadow. I used my Surratt Autographique Liner in Chat Noir on the upper lashline, and used the RBR Eye Kohl in Salome on the lower waterline. I finished it up with some L’Oreal Voluminous Carbon Black.
On my cheeks went MAC Dame blush, which is a good neutral shade for bright colors. I lined my lips with MAC Slightly Off lip pencil (sadly discontinued), and applied the glorious Bite Beauty Matte Crème Lipstick in Pastille Violet (also, sadly limited edition and no longer available, though their regular Violet shade looks lovely as well).
And voila! Done! They are really pretty neutrals and are a dream to work with. And I really need to wear this lip color more often.
What have you been wearing lately?
