No, you didn’t read that wrong. 😀 I was watching the Graham Norton show last night, and he had on Hugh Jackman, Michael Fassbender, and James McAvoy. They were talking about the “100 hotness rankings” that had come out, and how they were ranked, and James was way, way below them in the rankings.
What order would YOU rank the guys in?
James McAvoy up to, all the way. I have adored him for forever. Then Fassy. Then Hugh. (Sorry, never been a huge Hugh fangirl!)
When I started this blog, I mentioned that I was going to write about some of my favorite places in the world. My recent whirlwind 23-hour visit to Paris was a great place to start, since I knew I had to pop into Paperdolls boutique, one of my favorite places in Paris.
When the news came out that there was going to be another Libertinesreunion that I was going to be missing, it got me going back and listening to all Libertines-related music. A personal favorite of mine was Carl Barat‘s next band, Dirty Pretty Things.
I know, I know. They will go down in the annals of history as a mediocre indie rock band. They were not nearly as good as The Libertines. But you know what? I don’t care. I love some of the music that sprang from this band, especially the songs off of their first album, Waterloo to Anywhere.
So here’s a raucous number off of that album for your Monday morning!
I’ve been foundation floundering for a while now. Currently, my skin has freaked out, possibly because it’s a different climate in New York every single freaking day, and it doesn’t know which way is up or down. It does know how to break out, though. This has posed an added challenge to my foundation needs.
Another pre-trip purchase that I made was, yes, once again, some products from the Haus of Gloispring collection. I keep telling myself that I have enough hand creams, but then the list of seasonal scents comes out, and I lose all willpower! I didn’t have time to write this up before, so hopefully some of these are still left, since I know that they do sell out. (I actually had to order all this in 2 goes, because initially something I wanted was out of stock.)
Believe it or not, even people who blog about beauty and fashion don’t always feel so creative when it comes to makeup or clothing combinations. Some days I’m just not feeling any of it. So it was a blessing the day that the Popbasic Ashbury Collection walked into my life.
My recent trip saw me spending most of my time in the south of France, but my sister and I fit in a whirwind 23-hour layover in Paris. This left me with only a few hours of shopping time, but I managed to do significant damage nonetheless.
In my shopping frenzy, I found myself in the Marais, and came face to face with a store window with the most whimsical, adorable bags I had ever seen. Fortunately for my already abused credit card, the store had closed for the day, and I was leaving the next morning before it opened. Doesn’t mean that I am not now pining for a Barbara Rihl bag.
