Sick of autumn makeup looks? No? GOOD. Cause I’ve got an autumnal fotd for you, too. I actually stepped a little out of my comfort zone with this one, so hopefully it’ll meet your approval.

I wrote a while ago about hauling Chanel Illusion d’Ombre in New Moon, but have yet to feature it in a look. Well, that gets corrected today!
Chanel Illusion d’Ombre in New Moon is extraordinary. It’s hard to see in the swatches, but it has multicolored sparkles, ranging from the orange to the green to even the purple. I put together 2 looks to show its versatility.
Hey guys, hope you had a good weekend. I’ve been super distracted by the huge global sports event currently occurring (no, not tennis), so I’m falling back on things I have ready to go. Sorry to repeat back to back Cynthia Rowley Beauty Spring Line posts, but what are you gonna do? Football calls!
And…I’m back with my thoughts about the Cynthia Rowley Beauty Spring Collection I was so lucky to have won from Birchbox* and Birchbloggers. I’m throwing in a look with the products, to boot! (I have another FOTD to come.)
(*In case you’re not familiar with it, Birchbox is a monthly subscription service where, for just $10 a month, you receive a box full of deluxe-sized and travel-sized samples. You receive Birchbox points for every purchase you make and every review you write, which can be redeemed in their store. For every 100 points you earn, you get $10 towards a full-sized product order. Get your own here.)
Today, I’m starting what I hope will be a new series on here, Comparatively Speaking. One of the things I find most valuable when buying new beauty products are swatches and color comparisons. Often, I can’t find comparisons of the specific products I’m looking for. Well, now, if you think like me and want to shop like me, it’s your lucky day, because I’m starting my own, and I’m starting with orange red lipsticks.
Continuing where we left off with my Paris pharmacy haul, I now present the droolworthy Paris haul of high-end products I
sold my soul for invested in. I managed to do quite a bit of damage in a very short amount of time (about an hour…this is why I had a list!). My sister was appalled impressed.
Some of you have been waiting for this, some of you haven’t, but here goes nothing. It’s taken me this long to post about my Paris haul because of all the things that I had to photograph! And the weather hasn’t been that cooperative. (I need to get some lighting!!)
You may have seen my “overview” on Instagram, but here we go in detail… (more…)
It’s been a while since an update on my search for the perfect red, but I’m back with a doozy: Chanel Pirate lipstick.
Another pre-trip purchase that I made was, yes, once again, some products from the Haus of Gloi spring collection. I keep telling myself that I have enough hand creams, but then the list of seasonal scents comes out, and I lose all willpower! I didn’t have time to write this up before, so hopefully some of these are still left, since I know that they do sell out. (I actually had to order all this in 2 goes, because initially something I wanted was out of stock.)
*This entry has been prescheduled to post while I am out of the country, so if you comment and I don’t reply right away, that’s why.*
I’m back with some Rouge Bunny Rouge in action! I literally couldn’t wait to try out the shadows I showed you, so I actually put them on that day and took these photos. It’s true love.
Despite the fact that they don’t show up super pigmented on me, they just look so lovely. I wanted to contrast the warm colors of the shadow with a cooler lipstick, so I pulled out a favorite of mine that doesn’t see the light of day nearly often enough. Read on for details!
