Today I’m introducing you to new additions to my stash—Burberry Pale Barley eyeshadow and By Terry Rouge Terrybly Carnal Attraction lipstick—that totally fall under “The Blogger Made Me Do It,” though it didn’t really take a lot of prompting. And showing you the look I wound up using both of them to achieve.
I know a couple of big-name bloggers have just written about Sunday Riley Effortless Breathable Tinted Primer, but I’ve actually had mine for about a month now. I was waiting on a full evaluation before writing about it, but I’ve hinted at it a couple of times. Unlike the people who are now rushing out to buy it because of Anna and Kate (and no shame in that), my purchase was made due the usual: Lisa Eldridge. (And, yes, I’ve made the tag. 🙂 )
I mentioned that I have been wearing my By Terry Cover-Expert basically every day, except for the few days where I feel like wearing a little less. And the Effortless Breathable Primer is what’s been less. Only, I would never call it less, because it’s so so much on its own.

I had been eying some things to try on Feel Unique for a while, and, coincidentally, they were all restocked right before their big winter sale started. I just couldn’t resist. (IT’S LIKE THEY KNEW.)
I admit I got caught up in the rush of shopping and probably snatched up a few things I shouldn’t have. Definitely impulse buys. But everything seems like a good deal when it’s on sale, even if you didn’t think you needed it before!
Let’s get to it, shall we?
I know I’m ages behind on the NARS Guy Bourdin Collection products, but things happen. 😉 The colors really spoke to me, but I was going to be good and skip it, until I watched this tutorial.
And, this is super dumb, but I added in an extra NARS item I wanted (again, thanks to Lisa Eldridge,) because there as a gift with a certain purchase amount, only it turns out after I ordered the offer had changed overnight and I didn’t need to buy it. But I’m not sorry. 🙂
1. NARS Satin Lip Pencil in Palais Royal 2. NARS Guy Bourdin blush in Coeur Battant 3. NARS Guy Bourdin Cinematic Eyeshadow in Bad Behaviour
I thought I would try out the monthly favorites post (with a year-end roundup coming up soon, too).
I love when I read a good blog and not only do I get great beauty and skincare tips, but I also find out about new bands.
Kate’s post did not introduce me to any new British bands, but instead to 2 American bands. I liked them both, but I’m starting with Kitten.
An LA-based band, Kitten released 3 EPs: 2010’s Sunday School, 2011’s Cut It Out, and 2013’s Like A Stranger.
I am really digging the track, “Cut It Out.” Hope you enjoy, too!
Any new band recommendations for me? What are you listening to today?
Salut tout le monde! Hi everyone! J’espère que vous avez un bon week-end! I hope that you’re all having a good weekend!
Continuing the request for my basic daily beauty routine, today I’m going to tell you nothing, because I am naturally beautiful and don’t need any makeup.
Ha, I wish! I really do envy those women who wake up and are just beautiful. I need to put a little more work in, but, hey, I also enjoy the process. If you have to do it, at least love what you do!
Disclaimer: I know it looks like a lot, but I don’t use all of the things pictured all of the time. So relax. 😉

SPF 15, Clé de Peau Beauté Concealer, Benefit Stay Flawless 15-hour Primer, Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer Kit
I need to start with the 2 products I feel have really changed my life. With my oily skin, I have not only tried all the skincare I could to control my oil, I’ve also tried pretty much every mattifying and/or oil-free foundation out there. And then I read about Hourglass cosmetics and their Immaculate Liquid Powder Foundation, I read the reviews, and I went to the Barneys counter to see for myself.
